Hair Reborn is a charity established with the purpose of providing free hair care and advice to people undergoing chemotherapy for cancer treatment.

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we may collect from you and how we will use it.

We may collect and process the following personal information about you:

If you contact us with an enquiry we will use the information you provide to deal with that enquiry, on the basis that we have a legitimate interest to do so. We may keep a record of that contact and of the information you provide at that time.

If you ask to be added to our contacts database we will collect your name, the name of your company/organisation (if any), address, telephone number, email address and your preferences as to the type of information you would like to receive from us. This may include contacting you regarding our fundraising activities.

If you contact us to make a complaint we will use the information provided to respond to the complaint, on the basis that we have a legitimate interest to do so

We may use information which is provided to us to fulfil any legal obligations that relate to Hair Reborn

We will not use your personal information for any purpose not explained in this privacy policy

Do we share your personal information?

From time to time Hair Reborn may require third parties to process personal data on its behalf pursuant to a legal obligation or because it has a legitimate interest to do so

We may disclose your personal information to third parties if we are under a duty to share or disclose it to comply with any legal obligation.

Except as above we will not share your personal information with any other party.

How long will be keep your personal information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.

Where do we store the information and how is it kept secure?

 All information you provide to us is stored on a secure server located in the United Kingdom.

We limit access to your personal data to the Trustees of the charity and others who have satisfied the Trustees that they have a legitimate need. Anyone who has access is subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. However, please be aware that no computer system is completely secure and there is always a degree of risk whenever personal information is transferred by electronic means.

Physical documentation recording personal information is stored in a secure location.

You are entitled to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are processing it lawfully, (To do so please contact us in accordance with the details blow in the “Contacting Us” section.) Your information will be provided to you free of charge (unless the request is unreasonable or excessive in which case a small fee may be charged or we may limit the amount of information supplied) within 30 days (as per the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations).
